Why is it collected?
Your information is used to send only the updates you requested. This may include book releases, new series announcements, Keeper of the Infinite Archive updates, webcomic episodes, bonus material and related author news.
Email subscriptions use double opt-in. You are not added to an active mailing list until you confirm your email address.
Your choices
Every marketing email includes links allowing you to unsubscribe or manage which mailing lists you receive.
Where available through the subscription-management page, you can also request an export of your subscriber data or request deletion.
How email is delivered
Mailing lists are managed using a self-hosted installation of Listmonk. Email delivery is handled through Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES).
These services process the information required to deliver messages, handle confirmation requests, and process delivery failures or complaints.
Sharing and selling
Subscriber information is not sold to advertisers or mailing-list brokers.
Information is shared only with service providers where necessary to operate the website and deliver the emails you requested.
How long is information kept?
Subscriber information is retained while your subscription is active and as reasonably necessary to maintain unsubscribe, bounce or complaint records and prevent unwanted email from being sent again.
Email tracking
Email analytics may include basic delivery information and, where enabled, information such as link activity. Tracking settings may change as the mailing system evolves.
Security
The mailing system is hosted behind HTTPS and administrative access is restricted. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but reasonable technical measures are used to protect subscriber information.
